We, the PHILIPPINE REEFS MANAGEMENT CORP. in partnership with MARES DIVE EQUIPMENT, would like to thank all our volunteers and SCUBA Divers, supporters and partners in the recent 24TH INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEAN-UP ACTIVITY held in Mayumi Dive Resort, Anilao, Batangas last September 19, 2009. Through this valuable efforts, we have noticed a significant reduction of garbage in the area as we have collected a small amount of garbage compared to the previous years. It is such a satisfying news to hear that concerted efforts done through the years, with significant awareness by the communities and families living in the surrounding areas have reduced the garbage irresponsibly disposed.

As the whole series of activities went on through out the day, the organizers would like to apologize to some unforeseen delays caused by some factors like the power outage that hampered the airfills of scuba tanks and late arrivals of some invited dive parties. All in all, fortunately it went on smoothly and everybody had a good time in the event. Until our next set of activities, we would like to wholeheartedly thank all those who helped and supported our project.
